Angels Unaware

Mission with People on the Move

“Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.” –Hebrews 13:2

Friday, November 5, 6–8pm with light dinner

Saturday, November 6, 9am–3pm, sack lunch

Join others interested in mission. Listen, dialogue and pray. Step back to “see” our sisters and brothers “on the move”. Understand their reality through the Word of God and Catholic Social Teaching. Make a faithful judgment on how to act for their well-being beginning with a global perspective, moving to a national view and concluding with a personal perspective.

Listen to nationally recognized speakers including Fr. Michael Gallagher, chair of Jesuit Refugee Services, Fr. Van Than Nguyen, missionary priest of the Divine Word, Chair of Catholic Missiology and New Testament Professor at CTU, Sr. Rhonda Miska O.P, and others.

This is a United States Catholic Mission Association event sponsored by the Pontifical Mission Society of the United States, Jesuit Refugee Services and hosted by SMP’s Journey of the Heart ministry. This is a no-cost event.
