Given the new statewide restrictions put in place for the next four weeks by Governor Inslee and the directives issued by our Pastor, Fr. Jim Lee, all in-person ministry at Saint Michael Parish will take place virtually beginning Tuesday, November 17. All Confirmation groups will hear directly from their small group leaders and receive their Zoom links from them. Sessions will continue to meet on their originally scheduled dates and times.
Confirmation Groups are now full for the 2020-2021 catechetical year.

Preparation for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation requires two years of engagement in faith formation. The first year may be at a Parish ministry or a Catholic School curriculum (Proximate Year). The second year is direct catechesis in preparation through the parish (Immediate Year).
Ministry at SMP this Fall: This year only (2020-2021), the Confirmation Ministry welcomes all students, in grades 8th through 12th grades who discern they are ready to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. This ministry invites parents to journey with their children toward the Sacrament. The confirmand’s commitment includes two evening gatherings per month from October to May. Parents are invited and encouraged to participate in formational gatherings monthly. Given the unique circumstances of this pastoral year, Saint Michael Parish will offer both in-person and online session offerings.
