Family Faith Guides

The Family Faith Guide ministry is being offered to parents of children grades Pre-K–5th. It is designed to be a highly flexible, yet personal ministry to help parents build the Domestic Church and help children draw closer to Christ. Most contact will be online.

Ministry at SMP this Fall: Families will receive weekly contact (Zoom, email, phone) from a Family Faith Guide Catechist who will provide personalized catechesis w/resources for the Domestic Church at home. Occasional in-person small group Atrium sessions will be offered for children grades 1–5.

*Sacramental Preparation: Family Faith Guide Ministry will form the basis of more immediate preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in the winter and spring. Families desiring to prepare their children to receive First Reconciliation and First Eucharist will have a chance to indicate this on their registration form. We will reach out to you to discuss how we are customizing Family Faith Guide activities to meet the needs of your child this Fall as they prepare for the Sacraments.

Faith Formation Ministry at SMP is full and temporarily closed for the Fall season. We will reevaluate ministry in January. Please email cschmitz@saintmichaelparish to request that your child be added to the ministry wait list.
