High School Youth Ministry

High School Ministry invites ALL freshmen through seniors, along with their friends who they are encouraged to invite, to be a part of a Holy Spirit-filled community. Jesus meets us all where we are and walks alongside us all (1 John 1:7). We believe that the Eucharist is the source and summit (CCC 1324) of our faith, and our relationship with Jesus Christ is the focus at Saint Michael Parish. We intend to impart the Catholic faith to our youth and invite them to practice and live out the faith in their lives.

Family Reflection Questions:

  • What stood out to you the most this week?
  • What did you learn about the end of the world? Is it like the movies depict it to be?
  • What do you think your glorified body will be like?
  • How will our actions affect what happens to us at our own death and the end of the world?
  • How can we live in hope and expectation for Jesus to come again?

Programs

Groups “A” will be on campus.

They will meet Sundays 3–-4:30pm in designated areas.

Theological Virtues

Teen Leads are studying the last component of our Theological Virtues.

Love unpacks and discusses the theological virtue of love in our lives.

Summit is a lectionary-based discipleship group for HS seniors that focuses each session on the Sunday readings for that week. These short yet impactful small group sessions allow HS seniors to engage with God’s Word while preparing for the Sunday liturgy, all while journeying as disciples with a group of their peers.

Thursdays, 5–6:30pm.

Senior Class will resume with weekly gatherings on April 15 at 5pm in the Gonzaga Center.
