Middle School Youth Ministry

Faith Formation registration is now closed. To sign your child up for Faith Formation programs for the 2022-2023 year, please contact Jackie Shirley at jshirley@saintmichaelparish.org or contact the program steward directly.

Middle School Ministry encourages 6–8th grade students to explore their Catholic faith. We support ministry to, with, and by middle school students, seeking to draw them into a responsible participation in the life, mission and work of our Catholic faith community. During their middle school years, they will be able to journey through Theology of the Body and will receive the beautiful Sacrament of Confirmation. Middle School Ministry and Confirmation are integrated as one ministry.

EDGE is a Catholic middle school youth ministry program. It provides a place for youth to find a solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. EDGE speaks to the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth.

For 8th graders who are interested in becoming High School Teen Leads. They will study and become the great leaders that God is calling them to be, first learning how to be disciples.
