Journey of the Heart Mission Trip

Are you looking for a way to strengthen your faith while serving others?

Consider joining our fall family friendly (must be 12 years or older) mission trip to Juarez, Mexico! This unforgettable experience is a wonderful way to strengthen the faith and unity of your whole family, gain perspective, and build lasting friendships with our friends at the Holy Spirit Center in Juarez and your fellow parishioners.

Cost of the trip is $700 per person if you fly to El Paso as part of our group. If you have your own transportation to El Paso, or if you want to purchase your own airline ticket using personal airline miles, the cost is $200 and you’ll need to meet us at the El Paso airport on October 18, no later than 6:30pm. We will then all cross the border together and drive to the Holy Spirit Center.

There will be three pre-trip meetings to prepare ourselves for mission. Please plan to attend all three sessions, which will be held on September 29, October 6 & 13 from 5:30–7:30pm in the Pier Giorgio room. There will also be a post-mission trip potluck on November 3 from 6-7:30pm which all participants are asked to attend.

What do I need to bring? You must have either a valid passport or enhanced driver’s license and a heart open to experiencing something new!
