Adult Confirmation

“The reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church)

Sr. Alexa Rebecca confirmed as an adult by Fr. Jim Lee September 28, 2017.

Did you know confirmation is required in order to serve as a Godparent or sponsor? Or that you are to be confirmed prior to marriage in the Church? Baptized Catholics, 18 years and older, generally prepare for this sacrament through a series of classes offered each year. If you are baptized but have not been confirmed, it is NEVER too late to prepare. The ages in our classes range from 18 to 80.

Adult Confirmation classes are held Wednesday evenings, 6:30–8:30 pm in the Parish Center multipurpose room on the 1st floor.
