Mona maintains the parish database, to include ministry volunteers, talent pools and meet-up groups. As Safe Environment Coordinator, she ensures compliance with the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program requirements.
Andrew CasadSteward for Christian Initiation and Matrimony
Andrew helps introduce people to Jesus Christ (through Alpha) and accompanies those who discern a call to become Catholic by means of an apprenticeship in the Christian life (catechumenate) and preparation for the sacraments (RCIA). He is also responsible for assisting couples as they prepare to be married in the Catholic Church.
Connor GeraghtySt. Michael Parish School Principal
Connor is responsible for the day to day operations of our Preschool-8th grade Catholic school. His areas of responsibilities include administering our educational programs, faith formation, staffing, finance, stewardship, and communications.
Andrew helps people encounter Christ through sung prayer. He shepherds the gifts of volunteers in the adult choirs, children’s choirs, orchestra, and contemporary band, as well as provides support for concerts and other music-related events.
Kim is responsible for coordinating volunteers for the Men’s Shelter from November through the end of March, supervising ministries and collaborating with other local organizations to assist the homeless and those in need.
Nicole coordinates parish worship and prayer needs, overseeing the provision of quality liturgical seasonal celebrations and coordinating the work of the liturgy teams and committees as well as the work of the various liturgical ministers.
Benedetta ReeceSteward for Pastoral Care & Community Outreach Ministries
Benedetta supervises ministries including Holy Communion to the Homebound, coordinates for Anointing of the Sick, and facilitates groups such as Detention Ministry, Grief, Cancer, and Loss of Infant support. She also coordinates with Interfaith Works and Catholic Community Services.
Jackie oversees and supports all SMP faith formation programs including Life Teen, EDGE, Small Faith Sharing Groups, Children’s Ministries, Sacramental Preparation, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and TNTT.
Caiti SchmitzAdministrative Assistant for Faith Formation and Steward for Young Adults
Caiti is blessed with the opportunity to provide clerical support to eight stewards as they passionately strive to offer excellent formation opportunities for all ages. In addition, she considers it a special privilege to maintain our parish sacramental records and to work with Young Adults.
Mary TrotterSteward for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Mary offers Montessori-based, developmentally oriented faith formation ministry to children ages 3-12 and their families, including offering weekly two-hour experiences for children of different age groups to explore their faith using age-appropriate materials.
